All of us here at IR are getting excited that we will be providing Remote CART Services for the main sessions at the CACUSS Conference in Ottawa. This year the conference is being held June 11 to June 14, 2017. We’re also looking forward to being a Bronze Sponsor this year and reaching out to more of the attendees.
How Will CART Services Help?
By providing CART Services at the main sessions, the message being delivered by the keynote speakers will be read by everyone. And if you know our tagline – It Has To Be Seen To Be Heard! – then you can appreciate it that much more.
As always the keynote speakers will be shown on a large screen. This year, so will the live text of what they are saying. EVERY person in the audience will be able to follow along with what the speaker is saying or pick up on any words that they may have missed. In having CART services available at these sessions, even people with no hearing loss will benefit. How? Having the captioned text in addition to the audio will help to make the points being delivered by the speaker more succinct and allow for better comprehension by all. And for those that are in attendance and have a hearing loss, they will be able to follow along that much easier.
Staff from IR Broadcast Captioning will be attending at the Exhibition Hall.
