Why Use IR? |

Experience
At IR Broadcast Captioning, we know what we're doing. We've been involved in
the closed-captioning industry since 1992. We know, and understand, what
broadcasters need. We pass this knowledge on to our team as we expand. While
other companies struggle to understand basic broadcast requirements, our team
will work with you through the steps and ensure that you receive a quality
captioned program each and every time your program airs.
Service
And since we've been working in this industry since the 90's, we'll be there
when you need us. We don't subcontract our work out to other companies to save
money, nor do we use lower quality options like voice recognition systems. Just
like you don't cut corners on your productions, we don't cut corners on
captioning your programs.
Support and
Preparation
When you use IR, we make sure our captionists are prepared to take on your
shows. This starts with an in-house prep team that gathers the information our
writers will likely caption on your program. If it's news, then this team
gathers current stories and events during the day. Our writers will become very
familiar with all aspects of the local area to ensure they understand everything
about your city, from street names and schools to history and local politics. If
it's a sports event or sports show, then a full review of the upcoming game,
past games, and other related items in the league. Whatever we take on, our prep
team is there to help support our writers. This all means quality captioned
programming for you, and your viewers.
